STILL SICK!!!!

Poor Abby! She had a fever of 103.8 last night, thats right 103.8....I took her to the dr. today and they gave her antibiotics for some fluid in her ear and she also has a respiratory thing going on. I'm sure the anti biotics will cure all, in the mean time Mommy will be keeping her home until Monday to get her well!!!! The pic is her at the doc & yes she did have to wear her big bow there, Abby likes to dress to impress!!!!ha!

There are good nights and then there are BAD nights. (last night)

The hubs wanted to name my blog today and it is fitting. Poor Princess Abby is sick:( She was up all night (so were we) with a fever and was just miserable. She is at home today with Gma Nancy (thanks G-ma Nancy) and Cade and his duck. Robbie and I are at work trying to stay awake!!!! C'mom coffee.

We've been updating Cade's room trying to make it a little more modern. We got rid of all that Superhero craziness and got most of the cute stuff below at Tarjay (Target)! Cade loves his new room and manages to keep it cleaner then before. We still have a little more tweaking to do, a big bed a closet overhaul but so far so good, whatd'ya think? (The pic at the top is a original by Robbie, he is very talented, ya know:)

Busy Weekend...

We had a busy weekend! & I think we got Spring fever yesterday but we'll get to that in a minute. Friday night we dropped the kids off at Nanny & Mini Ma's to go see a movie, now granted we did sit in traffic for over a hour on the interstate & thought why don't you parents live closer!!!! Someone move to Smyrna quick! We had a good time though and the kids did too! Abby & Cade were fast asleep when we got back, thanks mini ma and nanny for watching them.

Saturday morning we had a pancake breakfast with Angie, Preston, Austin, Cari, Julia and the other Austin! It was fun & the kids had a great time. Did you see Angie's squishy he is unbelievable, I want to squish him and put him in my pocket.

Yesterday was another beautiful day so we got Spring Fever and Abby & I went to Home Depot to get some outside pillows to go on the backporch chairs and we saw some lovely big pots of Rosemary (see pic ) , so we got three - two for the front porch and one for the back. This was all they had for this time of year & we needed something. I only like winter when there is snow otherwise everything just looks dead in Tn...

my wonderful Hubby (he is such a landscaper, I think he missed his calling he loves to be out in the yard moving plants & using sharp garden tools!) bought us a trellis (did i spell that right?) Never had a trellis before but always wanted one, I can't wait to have something growing on it!

A APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DR. AWAY!

Abby loves apples, it is her breakfast of choice! She hates to sit in her highchair so she can take her breakfast with her while she rambles through the house.

Thursday Donut Date!

Every Thursday the bub and I go on a Donut Date sans Abby (Cade says that she is not allowed to go) & this morning I thought, let me go ahead and get a cute little pic to put up on the blog. Maybe some crumbs around his mouth maybe a pic in front of the store. No, we got this! I said let mommy get her phone to take a pic I turned around and those sunglasses appeared out of nowwhere & are those gang signs he is throwing up??? I'm sure not but where does he learn this stuff? I would never do this for a pic & his father hasn't done this since the late 90's (just joking honey!, love you...) Maybe he is a rapper? Little Cade P. could be his name or Tiny P. We could all be rich from our tiny rapper boy! Hmmmm. Well, maybe not.. He is just being a kid & I'm possitive there will be plenty of other things that he will baffle us about, like when he runs through the house with his underwear on his head!

Hope everyone enjoyed there snow day! It was way to cold to go outside and play or build snowmen, so the kids decided on harrasment of parents instead. Look at the mug on this one, you know he is up to no good.

It's off to Grandma Nancy and Grandpa David's house they go! Thats right, mommy and daddy are going on a date! We don't know where the night will take us, we may even go to a club, ha!, I do not have clothes cool enough for a club! We will probably b asleep by 8:30 anyways. But it's excited to say the least. It's nice to go to dinner without yelling, throwing, pooping, ect. (for those of you who have kids, i'm sure you understand)

Now sometime about 10:00 p.m. I will start to miss those boogers and wonder how everything is at ol' G-ma's house. Are they sleeping?, Has G-ma's dog eaten my baby?,(yeah I know - i'm crazy!) I'm sure everything will be wonderful & G-ma & G-pa could not be happier (now) about having the company, I think they went all out with cookies,cupcakes, ect. (good luck with that, by the way!) The best will be to see my mom who will look exhausted and beat up by the time we pick them up tomorrow. She'll be saying I have to go to bed. (uh, yeah I know...)

So, till no pics, but I'm working on it.

I'm Blogging!!!

I feel so cool, I have started a blog! I have no idea what I am doing though! The hubs is gonna have to help me with this. But you have to start from somewhere:)

So today was Valentine's Day at the kids school! Boy was Cade excited.. Anything at school that does not include actual work is good for him. Everyday this week he has woke up and asked is today Valentine's day? When I tell him no he gets mad and then tries to get out of going to school by telling me he is sick and something hurts but can never pinpoint what it is that hurts! Hello!? He does have a girlfriend at school, which he has had for a while now (ahhh, young love) and got her a picture of himself in a heart frame - which we thought was so Cade. We could just see it on her night stand now. We did finish his Valentine's cards last night, which to be honest was really more of me finishing his Valentine's cards and don't even get me started on Abby's! Does a 1 year old really need to hand out Valentine's?, she is probably just gonna try to eat them!

Abby is having her first school party today, so she thought that she should dress for the occasion. She had on her best tutu! I'm sure when I bring her in they are like where is she going?, this is daycare (school, I like to call it school - makes me feel better). But she is a girl and I'm sure I only have a few more years of being in control of what she wears ala Cade Robert! You should see some of the outfits that kid puts together.! I guess I should have some pics of them going off to their parties but I'm really so computer illiterate (did I spell that right)? I will try to have the hubs show me soon!
