Christmas recap

Christmas was wonderful, no pics because I was exhausted for some reason and could barely move., this happens quit often - if anyone would like to diagnose me put in comments:) Ive got to get a good camera and start getting better pics on here. Anywho Cade was estatic over all his gifts as was Abby this year! This was the first year she was into it now that she is 2, so sad to type that she is 2, i would prefer her to be a baby forever. Santa may have went a little overboard this year, lol. There stockings were so full there were goodies balancing on top! We are in the process of TRYING to combine their rooms so we can have a family room/playroom, yeah it all sounds great but there's not been alot of progress on this, again if you would like to help leave a message in comments:) We are looking forward to what the New Year brings for our family!!!

If anyone out there is looking to buy me a over $300 mixer Ill take one of these please
just kidding - but isnt it beautiful.

It's almost here!!

It's almost time - Santa Claus is comming, yay!! I've been real good this year, lol! The kids are very excited well Cade is I think Abby is still figuring everything out. I started early this year so I'm done, just have to wrap em' up. I can't wait to see their tiny faces on Christmas morning!! By the way the pic below (from neineis diolouges) has got to be my dream tree! Look at this tree, there is flocking, there is a toadstool at the bottom there is a globe. I love it! I'm sure The hubby would disagree and say that it looks like something my mom and I would put up:) Yes it does!! pic from neinei

Abby' Pink Princess Piggie Party!!!

Our littlest Pennington is 2, We can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday she was new to the world getting a tan under her jaundice lights - She was a Yella Fella just like Cade. How our world has changed with you! You are very independant, Bossy, Beautiful, Funny, A Cuddler, A Stink eye Giver, a Avid book reader/looker ater (you cant read, not that we know of anyways), a singer, a fit thrower, a kisser, a Great baby sister and daughter. We all love you so!

I can't belive it's been so long since my last post. I am a avid blog reader/stalker and when i see my pics in here it just doesn't seem to measure up. I use my iphone for pics, thats the only way I know how to get pics on here, lol! I'm just not cool....

Yesterday you bit,scratched and kicked me (good times) you are one heck of a fit thrower. 'll be honest I am a little scared of you at times and feel a preist may be in order;) I'm sure it's all a phase and you will be back to your sweet cuddely self in no time!

NEGLECTED!

I've neglected this blog for over a month now:( Is anyone out there? Is this thing on?? I'll do better I promise! As you can see the last post was Kindergarten, I think that since I get up so much earlier now my brain is fried.. I will get back in the swing of things, please still follow:)

Kindergarten!

Well today it began his journey into actual school! First day of kindergarten, my baby! my first baby! I didn't cry, suprisingly. I was trying to hold it together for my little guy. He was very excited, and so were the other kids!, aren't the supposed to be crying holding on to their mommies legs? Kids grow up so fast these days. I gotta tell ya i've almost had panick attatcks over whats he gonna eat for lunch, are they gonna put him in someone else's car? Crazy I know! Especially since he has been gong to the Early learning center their since two!!! Enjoy pics.

Craft of the Day!

I got this $4.00 tank from Wally World and used fabric to embelish! Hand sewn, I NEED A SEWING MACHINE!!!:)

My take on the "We love school" wreath that's going around in the blog world. I used what I have so its quite a bit different - but I still think its cute!!

My 5 year old!

Well your 5. I'm very emotional writing this, you're 5 today and you're starting kindergarten next week. Why oh Why are you getting older it's not fair, I can't take it, my heart! You have grown into quit the little man, you are a carachter! You are very thoughtful, emotional, loving, charming, protecting, an actor, a singer, a messer, a daddy's boy, a great big brother and a wonderful son! We are so very lucky that you are ours and five years ago today mine and your daddy's life changed for the better when god blessed us with our beautiful, squishy baby boy!


*just a small insight on the kind of carachter you are - this morning you and you say your sister destroyed her room and when I went in and asked you why ya'll did it you said you didn't know and that it WAS on purpose! I asked you then if you cared mommy was busy in the mornings and didnt have time to clean up messes and you said Mom, I dont care. I love you mom, but I dont care!*

craft of the day.

seems like latley I've been doing a craft a day, lol. Sorry about the pic, not very clear. I need to master a camera and quit using my iphone but anywho this was a placement, that's right a placemat that I turned into a pillow.. There were 4 in the pack so I've made two so far. I just used a seam ripper, poly fill and needle and thread to sew back up. You have to get the placements that are doubled with a back, you'll know what i'm talking about when you see them.. I think they turned out pretty great and I love the ruffle detail!

I had some yo yo's that were begging to be used so I wrapped a wreath and hot glued those babies on there (cute) and made my littlest squish a cutey tutey shirt! Couldnt hot glue those had to hand sew:(

Sorry it's been so long, but I've had blogger block! I don't know if it's the heat or what but I've been exhausted and not felt like bloggin' it up. But I feel energized today and hope to get back to my poor little blog with some posts that you will enjoy!

This week is a crazy one, I've got two birthday parties to do (that's right two) One for my handsome hampster and one for the hubs! There birthdays are right on top of each other and I tend to go overboard., for those who know me this is a understatement.. Saturday night is the hubs party complete with margaritas and a fire pit (thanks angie!!, we will be using her house as the backdrop) and Sunday is the SPONGEBOB party for the bub! He will be 5, can you believe 5 what happened to my little guy? He is also starting kindergarten in a few weeks too! I've kinda stressed myself with this spongebob situation but it's what I do, nothing can ever be simple - it must be complicated and drive me over the edge, lol! I hope to have plenty of pics to come for these celebrations, I love birthdays, and I love to decorate for bubs birthdays!

Cupcake wreath

My first attempt at a cupcake liner wreath, what do ya think? i think it turned out pretty cute:) I added some little embellishments on the bottom.. It took about an hour and 150 cupcake liners, my hot glue gun (i love you hot glue gun, even though i'm missing skin on my index finger, i will forgive you) and a foam wreath form... I used red, white and blue liners for the 4th of July!

dentist

Look at this squish and his beautiful teeth! He was such a good boy at the dentist, they were able to use all the tools on him.. I was so proud.

Willy Nilly

So this post has nothing to do with my Bubs or my Hubby! I'm just curious what is going on with the postal service?? What happened to the uniforms?? I would feel much better if my mail was delivered by uniform in a mail truck rather then in a personal auto and someone in daisy dukes a tank and smoking!!! That's right for some reason this is the norm now where I live., Weird..

Yelli Kelli!

I'm in love with Yelli Kelli, she is a awesome seller on Etsy! Anyone who knows me knows that me and Etsy are BFF'S, if you've not been on you must go and you must look at Yelli Kelli - Gorgeous!!! (yellikelli.etsy.com) I was her 100th customer and being so I was going to get a free gift, woohoo!! I was excited! I had no idea she was going to send me the above nightgown for my little squishy, look at it - IT IS BEAUTIFUL! I was beside myself, I had just mentioned that I thought it was the bee's knees and she sent it along with the wonderful book mark for my summer reading as my PRIZE!! The original purchases I made were the cutey tutey fishstick pillow for my bubs room which is also hand painted - this woman is extremly talented and the Goose Feathers dress!! Look at that dress!! Have you seen anything cuter?!?! I'll post pics soon of my squish modeling them.!
